FANNY (France) 2013 Dir: Daniel Auteuil 102 mins
Please put Wednesday 22 April in your diary as we have arranged an additional film showing this season for Film Club Members. This is by way of thanks for your patience over the various disruptions we have had to face this season, and also to try out a potential new venue.

The film to be screened is the French language film, Fanny, the second film in a trilogy by the director Daniel Auteuil. We saw the first film, Marius, a few weeks ago. Fanny lasts 102 minutes. As usual, you are most welcome to bring guests.

The venue is NOT Cleves school, but the Playhouse (Cecil Hepworth Playhouse), Hepworth Way, Walton-on-Thames KT12 1AU between Walton High Street and Walton Bridge.

Unfortunately, parking at the site is very limited, but there is plenty of parking in the Sainsbury's multi storey car park close by at about £2.50 for 2-3 hours.

We very much hope as many members as possible will come, not just to enjoy the film, but so that we can seek your views about the venue and how it compares with Cleves, at our last film showing of the season at Cleves on 6 May, when there will also be a small end of season party.

Wednesday 6th May 2015 at 7.45 pm
THE LUNCHBOX (India) 2013 Dir: Ritesh Batra. 105 minutes.
Won Audience Choice Award in Cannes. A classic but unusual love story about a misdelivered lunchbox, combined with Mumbai colour, this has been described as one of the best films to come out of India.
This film will be followed by a themed, End of Season party!
