Weybridge Stroke Group

The Weybridge stroke group welcomes anyone who has experienced a stroke and their carers. The group meets at The Weybridge Centre weekly on Mondays from 10am until 2pm.
The group is a great way to meet people on a regular basis who understand and have experienced a stroke and to gain advice and support from the staff at the Weybridge Centre.
There are a number of activities that you can get involved with such as an exercise class, raffle, bingo, special events and outings.
You are welcome to stay for lunch that is prepared by the Centre at a cost of £3.70.
You will need to book your lunch by calling the Centre on 01932 844391 before 11am on the day.
Each year the Stroke Group members enjoy 5 outings to local places of interest such as Garson's Farm and enjoy a lovely cream tea.

More Help For Those Affected By Stroke
Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK changing the world for people affected by stroke.
In the last 20 years the number of people dying of stroke has halved while the number of major strokes has decreased by 40 per cent.
More people than ever are benefitting from cutting-edge treatments and making full recoveries. And more people now understand the need to seek emergency treatment for stroke.
We’ve been at the heart of every one of these developments, championing the cause of stroke and stroke survivors.
Our research has helped to improve treatments and care which has saved tens of thousands of lives.
Our support services have helped hundreds of thousands of people get through one of the most frightening experiences of their lives and build a life after stroke.
And our campaigning has touched the lives of even more people through initiatives like the FAST campaign which we developed to help people recognise the signs of a stroke and take emergency action.
